Glass Claw Hammer with Handy Handle by Ed Schmid

This beautiful glass claw hammer with integral human hand is the artistic work of Ed Schmid. Ed was inspired to create the piece after a visit to the Hammer Museum. His vision, the hammer and the aching hand of his friend, the carpenter so used to grasping it. This sculpture was created by Ed while he was in Haines in 2021 teaching a glass working class. We thank Ed for this amazing gift!
